The Ford County Cricket Ground in Chelmsford, has been home to Essex County Cricket Club since 1925.

A small ground, it suits big-hitting batsmen such as Graham Gooch, Ronnie Irani, and Graham Napier.

The Ford Motor Company, based in Brentwood and Dagenham, has the current naming rights for the ground, although it is also known to its fans as 'Fortress Chelmsford'.
